Sound Barrier with Filicia on the side

((Um.. so as you may have noticed, I haven’t been updating lately. I was about to come back, when I made that last update, but my Grandma, or as I called her, Babcia’s sickness that she had suddenly got severe. She passed away on March 19th at 2:30PM. She was my childhood and my hero, and the strongest woman I have ever known. I wanted to draw something for her, but my first picture was very sad and depressing. I knew she would want me to draw something happier.  She loved animals, and had a horse of her own.. so I thought, oh my gosh, ponies. She would’ve loved MLP: FiM. The happiness and the horses, and honestly, Granny Smith always reminded me of her. She will always be the Granny Smith to my Applebloom. The minute I saw Family Appreciation Day, I thought of her. So I drew this for her. 

It basically just shows all the wonderful memories I had with her. She taught me how to ride a bicycle, so I figured in the MLP, she’d taught Sound how to fly. I made her pony-self Skydancer, the G1 pony. (The blue unicorn is my sister, by the way.) Seeing her suffer was definitely the most painful thing I have ever witnessed. I’m just happy that her death was quick, and her suffering didn’t last long. I’m sorry this update this.. well.. as it is.. but I thought I’d share with you my feelings on how MLP made me feel and think about my Babcia. <3 I know she would want me to be happy like the characters are in MLP, instead of drawing a mournful picture. I’m not going to answer asks/messages with drawings for some time, I’m really sorry about that, but once summer rolls around I’m sure i’ll find the time to again. Thank you, everyone.
